03.09.2008 The Association Q responded to the false and insulting information about the first Queer Sarajevo Festival (QSF) and against members of LGBTIQ population in BiH published in the daily paper Dnevni Avaz (August 28 and September 2) and magazine SAFF (August 22). The full text of the reaction follows.

03.09.2008 Dana 2. septembra 2008. godine u listu ‘Dnevni avaz’ objavljen je članak pod naslovom ‘Slobodu ne treba koristiti za promociju tog smeća sa Zapada’ sa fotografijom muftije mostarskog Seida ef. Smajkića i fotografijom faksimila poslanog redakcijama u BiH u kojem stoji saopćenje o održavanju konferencije za štampu u Mostaru povodom održavanja Prvog Queer Sarajevo Festivala od 24. do 28. septembra u Sarajevu.

09.07.2008 Gej strejt alijansa podnela je krivičnu prijavu Prvom opštinskom javnom tužilaštvu u Beogradu protiv grupe nepoynatih lica koji su napali par lezbejki B. O. i T. B. i njihovog prijatelja R. B. u parku kod Doma Narodne skupštine Srbije i naneli im teške telesne povrede.

02.07.2008 The Organizing Committee of Zagreb Pride 2008 condemned the attacks on gay activists Kristijan Grđana and Sanja Juras and three participants who came to the Pride from Kosovo, expressing their full solidarity and support for the victims.

02.07.2008 Organizacijski odbor Zagreb Pridea 2008. najoštrije je osudio fizičke napade na aktivista Kristijana Grđana i aktivistkinju Sanju Juras te na tri sudionika koji su iz Kosova došli na subotnju Povorku ponosa, te su izrazili svoju punu solidarnost i podrušku napadnutima.

25.06.2008 A group of gay internet users noted that the Croatian internet space lacks a common starting point for homosexual men and women, bisexual, trans-gender and queer persons to get information and to get active, so they decided to launch a new internet portal to mark the Pride Week in Zagreb.
