18.02.2008 The Kosovo Assembly declared the region a new country yesterday, Sunday, February 17, in a long-anticipated step that marks the further dissolution of the former Yugoslavia into ethnically based Balkan states.

15.02.2008 Nongovernmental organizations in Bosnia and Herzegovina condemn the press release of the Government of the Canton of Sarajevo, published in the media after the protests of last Wednesday, January 13, accusing the organizers, Dosta! and GROZD of an “anarchist and anti-civilization call for violence”, and of a “morbidly constructed rebellion... and manipulation of children... abusing the personal tragedy of Denis Mrnjavac”.

05.02.2008 Sipas raporteve preliminare të Komisionit Qendror Zgjedhor, kandidati i Partisë Demokratike Boris Tadiq ka fituar Zgjedhjet presidenciale të mbajtura të dielën me 50.57 për qind të votave, për dallim me kundërshtarin e tij nga Partia Radikale Tomislav Nikoliq i cili ka marrë 47.71% të votave.

05.02.2008 The European Movement in Serbia (EMinS) expressed its satisfaction with the results of the second round of Presidential Elections, held last Sunday, and congratulated President Tadic on his second term in office that, EMinS believes, will end with Serbia in front of EU membership.

05.02.2008 According to the preliminary reports of the State Election Commission, DS’s Boris Tadic won the Sunday’s Presidential elections with 50.57 percent of the vote, with his opponent from the Radical Party Tomislav Nikolic getting 47.71% of the votes.

04.02.2008 Prema podacima Republičke izborne komisije, predsednički kandidat DS Boris Tadić dobio je 50,57 odsto ili 2.257.105 glasova birača, a kandidat SRS Tomislav Nikolić 47,71 odsto, odnosno 2.129.403 glasa. Ovi rezultati odnose se na 98,80 odsto obrađenog biračkog tela.
