01.06.2004 Friday, May 28, 2004 - Within the framework of the RIVER SEE Programme (Regional Integration through Volunteers Exchanges for Reunion of SEE) UNV BiH, Albania and Kosovo, in collaboration with VSO, OneWorld, SEEYN, OKC, Albanian Red Cross and Albania Youth Council, is setting up a Volunteer Exchanges Support Structure in the Balkans. From May 24th to 28th in Sarajevo, Implementing Partner Organizations identified in Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Serbia and Montenegro, participated in the specialized training.

Qėllimi kryesor i projektit ėshtė tė fuqizojė mobilititetin e tė rinjve nėpėrmes ngritjes sė veprimit vullnetar, pėr tė siguruar paqen dhe stabilitetin nė rajon.

Vullnetarizmi pėrfshin gjithė aktivitetet me interes komunitar e shoqėror, tė ndėrmarra nga njerzit me dėshirėn e tyre tė lirė dhe nė njė mėnyrė altruiste, qofshin kėto spontane dhe individuale apo tė organizuara dhe tė pėrhershme, tė ndėrmarra nė favor tė individėve dhe komuniteteve me bazė jo-fitimprurėse.

08.04.2004 In 2004, the Southeast Europe Youth Network – SEEYN starts the implementation of the new project titled “Albert Einstein”, with the goal to provide legislative framework for voluntarism in the countries of the SEE, and to establish a volunteer traveler visa. The ultimate goal of the project is to strengthen the youth mobility through increase of volunteer action, in order to secure the peace and stability in the region.

07.04.2004 Don’t let that during the summer months of June, July and August solidarity activities in Tirana and across Albania cease to exist. We can exploit such opportunity and lack of events and activities to promote our volunteerism spirit and spread the message around. Volunteerism encompasses all activities of social and community interest, undertaken by people in their free will and an unselfish manner, whether spontaneous and individual or organised and permanent, conducted to the benefit of individuals and communities on a non-profit basis.

27.02.2004 SOS telefon za pomoć žrtvama nasilja počeo je da radi u Loznici, a zainteresovanim građanima biće na raspolaganju svakog radnog dana od 18 do 20 sati.
SOS telefon deo je projekta "Utočište" za koji je lozničko Udruženje građana "Svetionik" iz Loznice dobilo podršku od republičkog Ministarstva za socijalna pitanja.

18.02.2004 BONN/LONDON, 12 Fevruari 2004 - Programata na Obedineti Nacii UN Volunteers (UNV) i OneWorld International potpisaa Memorandum za sorabotka, so cel da ja zajaknat megusebnata sorabotka i da go intenziviraat protokot na informacii preku online volontiranje. Dvete organizacii se nadevaat na prosiruvanje na sorabotkata i zgolemuvanje na protokot na razmena na informacii i iskustva povrzani so volonterskite programi.

18.02.2004 BONN/LONDON, 12 February 2004 -- The UN Volunteers (UNV) programme and OneWorld International have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to strengthen ties and foster an enhanced flow of information through online volunteering. Both organizations hope to expand the delivery of information and exchange of experiences and best practices within and about the volunteering sector.

24.12.2003 Under the auspices of the programme for long-term exchange of volunteers, young people from Montenegro will have a chance this year to travel to Portugal, France or Italy and work as volunteers for a local NGO. Their term will last for six months, starting on March 15, 2004. It means that they should start the preparations for that activity as soon as possible, having in mind the notoriously long and complicated visa procedures.

03.12.2003 Volonteri Ujedinjenih nacija (UNV), program administriran od strane UNDP-a, Razvojnog programa Ujedinjenih nacija proslavit će Međunarodni dan volontera 2003. u suradnji s organizacijama, Altius, NVO Fondacija, OIA, Kampanja za prigovor savjesti, Ekotim, Oaza, OXFAM, World Vision, XY / UNFPA, ALDI i Poljoprivredni institut, Sarajevo.. Proslava će biti organizovana u petak i subotu, 5. i 6. decembra, s početkom u 10.30 sati u Domu Armije, VFBiH u Sarajevu.

12.11.2003 Bosnian citizens with higher education that live abroad will have an opportunity to use the "Transfer of Knowledge Through Expatriate Nationals Project - TOKTEN" to return to B&H for a period of two months, which they will use to serve as consultants in both private and public sector. Over a period of three years, some 150 consultants will use their know-how and experience to contribute to the development and improvement of public and private sector in B&H.

The year was 1993, and under the Bosnian skies, the war was spilling blood all over the motley patchwork of coexistence carried by the Bosnian men and women for ages. 25.08.2003 Prvi internacionalni volonterski radni kamp pod nazivom «Bogatstvo različitosti» otvoren je danas u Stocu. Na kampu će učestvovati 50 mladih ljudi iz BiH i nekoliko evropskih država. Volonteri će tokom sedam dana trajanja kampa raditi na restauraciji i dekoraciji dvorišta omladinskog volonterskog centra. Mladi će također oslikati zidove centra i obnoviti pozornicu u dvorani. Devastirani prostor, bivša zgrada Vaspitno popravnog doma, donirana je početkom godine omladinskoj organizaciji Modra rijeka, a sanirana je uz pomoć UNV uz podršku Holanske vlade.
