Konferenca pati si qėllim vlerėsimin dhe informimin e institucioneve dhe grupeve tė ndryshme tė interesit pėr situatėn aktuale, detyrimet dhe pėrgjegjėsitė e ēdo sektori dhe institucioni, nevojėn dhe mundėsitė e bashkėrendimit tė politikave sektoriale nė zbatim tė Programit tė Qeverisė dhe objektivave tė Integrimit Evropian pėr mbrojtjen e cilėsisė sė ajrit.

26.06.2006 Nė takimin e tė premtes, Kryesia e Kuvendit tė Kosovės ka vendosur qė t'i rekomandojė Kuvendit vazhdimin e punimeve nė ndėrtimin e Qendrės Protokollare, e cila ka vlerė prej 3.3 milionė euro, ka bėrė tė ditur Naim Maloku, anėtar i Kryesisė sė Kuvendit.

06.06.2006 The Zelena Akcija environmental NGO and its partners organized, last Friday, June 2, 2006, a symbolic rafting tour on the Dobra River, to warn the public about the dangers that the announced construction of “Lesce” hydro-electric power plant would present to the bio-diversity of the river and the long-term bad investment that this HEP (Croatian Energy Company) project is likely to turn into.

The continuing activities of this NGO aim to strengthen environmental journalism, which has an important place in the process of increasing awareness and understanding of environmental problems in the public, as well as assist the journalists in finding sources of information on the environment.

02.06.2006 Povodom Svjetskog dana zaštite okoliša, Press centar za okoliš Hrvatske otvorio je svoju web stranicu, na adresi www.alertonline.org/press. Nastavkom rada ova nevladina organizacija nastavlja jačati okolišno novinarstvo, koje ima vrlo važno mjesto u daljem povećanju razumijevanja ekoloških problema u javnosti kao i pomoći novinarima u pronalaženju izvora informacija o okolišu.

01.06.2006 A workshop for the “Making the National Campaign for Sustainble Waste Management” has been organized in Ilidza (Sarajevo) between May 27th and 28th, gathering 14 representatives of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) from across Bosnia and Herzegovina with the common goal to define the guidelines for a Campaign that should contribute to solving the greatest environmentalproblem in BiH. The Workshop was implemented within the “Strengthening the role of NGOs for the Environment in BiH” Project, managed by the Center for Environment Banja Luka jointly with Ekotim Sarajevo, and financially supported by the European Union.

01.06.2006 Povodom 31-og Maja, Svjetskog Dana borbe protiv pušenja, Savez za prevenciju alkoholizma, nikotinizma i narkomanije Makedonije, i ekološko društvo “Opstanak” zahtjevaju hitno usvajanje Nacionalnog programa za prevenciju ovisnosti, koji će doprinjeti da država pomjeri fokus svojih aktivnosti sa liječenja posljedica na prevenciju.
