24.07.2006 As talks towards defining the final status Kosovo continue today in Vienna, Amnesty International calls on the participants to ensure that the protection of human rights of all persons in Kosovo remain at the heart of the process, and are addressed at every stage and in all aspects of the talks.

21.07.2006 The European Commission published the mandates for negotiations on visa regime alleviation and readmission agreements with Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The mandates provide for much simpler and quicker procedure, as well as issuance of multiple entry visas covering longer periods of time for students, researchers, artists and business-people, for travel into the EU.

18.07.2006 The pro-EU integration opinion among B&H citizens remains high, shows the survey conducted by GFK Market Research Centre from Sarajevo. According to the survey, 83% of the citizens would vote for it, if a referendum on EU integration were held today, with only nine percent against it. The support is greater in B&H Federation and Brcko District (85%) than in RS (75%).
