12.10.2004 According to the statistics available to the UNHCR, 28 persons suffered injuries in incidents involving land-mines and unexploded ammunition and ordnance. In 35 percent of those incidents, the resulting injuries were fatal for the victims.

06.09.2004 Italian humanitarian organization INTERSOS completed the first project for de-mining of the Bob-Sleigh Track on Trebevic Mountain and immediately started cleaning another location on the mountain.

23.04.2004 Jučer je u u Šibeniku počelo trodnevno međunarodno stručno savjetovanje o humanitarnom razminiranju. Savjetovanje je okupilo 150 stručnjaka iz 32 zemlje. Skup je u ime Europske komisije pozdravio Alfonso Peterson, predstavnik izaslanstva EK-a te General Petar Stipetić, izaslanik Presjednika Mesića.

31.03.2004 The Croatian Mine Action Centre (HCR) and “Hrvatska bez Mina” Charity (Mine-Free Croatia), in the presence of Jadranka Kosor, the Vice President of the Government, presented the new video clip designed to educate and warn school children about the danger of mines. They also presented to the public the new dedicated phone line 060 888 400, which can be used by the citizens to make a donation of 3,96 Kuna per phone call, which will go to the fund for de-mining of Croatia.

30.03.2004 Hrvatski centar za razminiranje (HCR) i zaklada "Hrvatska bez mina" predstavili su novi spot koji će školsku djecu upozoravati na opasnost od mina, kao i telefonsku liniju broj 060 888 400 putem koje građani mogu po pozivu donirati 3,69 kuna za razminiranje Hrvatske.

09.03.2004 U Beču se održava sastanak Organizacije za europsku sigurnost i suradnju (OESS) koji je u cijelosti posvećen temi razminiranja i uništenja eksplozivnih ostataka iz rata. Budući da Hrvatska trenutačno predsjedava Konvencijom o konvencionalnom oružju (CCW), stalni predstavnik RH pri OESS-u predstavio je aktivnosti u Hrvatskoj vezane uz razminiranje.

18.12.2003 The Coordinative Body of the Civic Platform "DOSTA E!" (It is Enough!) will hold a press conference on December 16, 2003, at the offices of the NGO Infocentre in Skopje. The Press-Conference will be organized to mark the end of the Campaign for Voluntary Collection of Illegal Arms in the Republic of Macedonia. The event will be used to evaluate the campaign, but also to present the results from the "Can Macedonia Do Without Arms?" project.

08.12.2003 The French Ambassador to Zagreb, Francois Bellanger and the De-mining Advisor to the Croatian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dijana Plestina, signed the agreement for cooperation between the MINE AID NGO and the Republic of France. On the basis of that agreement, the French side donated 25,000 EUR to the Regional Centre for Psycho-Social Rehabilitation of the Victims of Land-Mines in Rovinj. The money will be used to finance the work of the Centre that should be opened in Spring 2004. Having in mind the fact that this is the first institution of its type in the world, the children of the victims of land-mines from Croatia, the region, but also the world, will receive treatment at the Centre.

05.12.2003 Francuska vlada donirala je novac za centar za djecu žrtve mina čije se otvorenje planira u proljeće sljedeće godine i u kojemu će priliku za psihosocijalnu rehabilitaciju imati djeca žrtve mina iz Hrvatske, ostatka regije, ali i svijeta.

14.08.2003 In the first six months of this year, a total of 95 square kilometers, or 83 percent of the plan for the year, were demined in the Republic of Croatia.

08.08.2003 Na području Republike Hrvatske u prvih šest mjeseci ove godine razminirano je 95,8 četvornih kilometara, odnosno 87 posto od plana za 2003.

30.07.2003 The European Commission and the United Nations Development Programme in Albania signed a grant agreement on Tuesday, in the framework of UNDP's Mine Action programme in the country. The agreement was signed by ambassador Lutz Saltzman of the EC and Elzira Sagynbaeva, Deputy Resident Representative of UNDP.
