18.03.2008 A member of the United Nations police force in Kosovo has died of injuries he sustained in violent clashes with Serbian demonstrators in the divided town of Mitrovica. While, more than 150 people, including NATO and UN personnel, were wounded on Monday during running battles between peacekeepers and Serbs opposed to Kosovan independence.

17.03.2008 Ten people were confirmed killed and nearly 300 injured in a huge explosion at an Albanian munitions depot on the outskirts of Tirana, authorities said. But more casualties were likely to be found by rescuers combing the area devastated by the blast Saturday that virtually flattened a town outside the capital, Tirana.

14.03.2008 A group of nongovernmental organizations from Bosnia and Herzegovina sent an open protest letter, addressed to the Government of Canton of Sarajevo, Cantonal Ministry of Interior, Mayor Semiha Borovac and the citizens of Sarajevo, protesting the decision of the authorities to suspend the services of the Public Transport Enterprise GRAS for several hours on Wednesday, March 12, during and after the football match played at the Grbavica Stadium, to avoid possible violent attacks of football hooligans on citizens and GRAS vehicles.

14.03.2008 Grupa nevladinih organizacija iz BiH poslala je otvoreno protestno pismo Vladi Knatona Sarajevo, Kantonalnom MUPu, Gradonačelnici Borovac i građanima i građankama Sarajeva, protestvujući protiv odluke vlasti da prošle srijede, 12. marta, liše građane usluga javnog gradskog saobraćaja u vreme odigravanja utakmice na stadionu Grbavica.
